- ABOUT BANGOR
Our 32-bed Emergency Department has 44,000 visits annually. We serve both adult and pediatric patients. As a Level II Trauma Center and regional referral center serviced by LifeFlight of Maine we have a very high acuity level and roughly a quarter of our patients are admitted. We have trauma bays, critical care rooms, safe rooms, an ENT room and cardiac monitoring in most of our rooms.
We're a self-contained ED staffed with RNs, CNAs, Unit Secretaries, Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physicians, and highly trained Physician Assistants. We do point-of-care testing supported by our lab and do 30-40 EKGs per day. We have dedicated radiology staff and equipment 24/7. With a Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Educator for support and Charge Nurses for each shift, you'll receive the support you need. With over ten different schedules, we'll help you find the one that works for you.
We enjoy a good working relationship with our clinicians. We share the same set of expectations and are held accountable. We appreciate suggestions about improvements. If you have excellent skills, excellent customer relations and you have a great sense of pride in what you do, join us
